Because the units are made of containers, the amount of people it can house is flexible, depending on the scale of the disaster and the cultural background.


This particular layout prioritizes families and friends, in times of disaster, support from family and friends (and strangers) are vital. Of course I realise this is not optimal for all situations, and will provide another alternative.


The voids in the middle provide air circulation and natural light though all levels, section to be provided.


The units are slot into place via cranes, and rails.
